The Market Animal Committee has established this scholarship in order to recognize outstanding 4-H/FFA members who wish to further their education and use the skills they have gained in the 4-H and FFA program. Requirements to apply for the scholarship are as follows; senior,Must be a senior and in good standing in their local high school and meet the requirements to graduate. Individual must have shown in the Langlade County Livestock Project (beef, sheep, or swine) attending a university, technical college or a farm short course in the fall of the current year.
The Langlade County Leaders Association and Lakeside Pharmacy and Grocery proudly support the Lakeside/ 4-H Scholarship scholarship to good standing 4-Hers. Individual must be enrolled in the Langlade County 4-H Program. . *Applicants must have completed high school and be entering into their freshman year at a technical college or university. You must plan to work the Lakeside Pig Roast in August. Consideration will be given to those individuals who put the time into volunteering at the fundraising event since it funds the scholarship. Scholarship funds will be sent to your college or university upon handing in your first semester transcripts by January 30 of the following year, you must have an average GPA of 2.0. to receive monies from this scholarship.
